ActionVFX is seeking a Social Media Manager to further develop the fast-growing ActionVFX social media accounts. We’ve amassed over 120,000 followers across our platforms, but we’re not satisfied! The ActionVFX Marketing Team is hungry to grow our social media following with impressive content, campaigns, and strategies to continue to place the company in the forefront of the visual effects industry.
It hasn’t gone unnoticed that where we are today is because of our users. The importance of connecting and listening to all artists using ActionVFX assets is how we’ve been able to continue on our mission of building the undisputed best and largest library of VFX assets. As the Social Media Manager, you’d play a key role in these interactions, conveying our authentic voice across all ActionVFX social platforms.

We create world-class creative assets in a mountain town that are used by Film and VFX professionals all around the world. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about social media and the impact it can have on a business. This candidate will create effective social media engagement, conversion, and promotional strategies that will grow the brand’s social presence to new heights, and will align with broader marketing activities.
The ActionVFX brand is one of the leading forces in the visual effects industry, and this candidate will be tasked with increasing the growing influence of ActionVFX wielding social media, and continuing to place our voice in the forefront of the industry.
This role can be remote or in-house at our Johnson City, Tennessee office.
JOB DUTIES
- Posting/scheduling daily social media content
- Building rapport with our audience through comments, messaging, and more
- Knowledge and capitalization of social media trends
- Creating and managing social media campaigns to increase follower/subscriber count and engagement
- Creating and managing social media conversion strategies
- Creating and managing social media promotional/influencer strategies
- Reviewing social media analytics for data-driven decisions
- Ensuring cohesiveness in voice and design across social media
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of social media marketing experience
- Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (Namely Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more)
- Proficient copywriting skills
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Analytical skills to review and analyze data
- Familiarity with social media calendars/content management
